Women Achiever Award on International Women's Day Celebration

     

                     

Pandian Saraswathi Yadav Engineering College feels happy to inform that an International Women’s Day was celebrated on 06-03-2019 (Wednesday) in the college auditorium with an aim of promoting the tag line “Empowering women”.

Adding one more golden feather to the victorious crown of PSY Group of Institutions, the organization initiates a great act of honoring the deserving women achievers from various fields like Entrepreneur, Social Media, Education and social development by conferring them the prestigious “Women Achiever Awards”.

Our honorable Chairman Thiru.Malaysia.S.Pandian, MLA presided over the function and bestowed the awards. The day became more meaningful and colorful by the philanthropic act of our beloved Chairman who donated rupees 1,50,000/- to the 3 parentless students from M.K.N Middle School , T.Puthukottai, Manamadurai to build a strong foundation for their future.. Er.S.P.Varadharajan, Managing Director, felicitated the function.

The award recipients of 2019:

1. Mrs.Vennila Radhakrishnan, Tamil Pattivaithiyam, Youtube Channel, received the Women Achiever Award for her service towards younger generation by creating awareness on traditional and natural method of healing illness through social media

2. Mrs.Kanmani Rajmohan, Correspondent and Senior Principal , Dolphin Matric Hr.Sec. School, Madurai received the Women Achiever Award for her outstanding contributions in the field of Education.

3. Mrs.S.Dhamayanthi Manivannan MSW, Managing Trustee, Yogum Public Health Voluntary Social Trust bagged the Women Achiever Award for her selfless service towards the development of rural women entrepreneurs.

4. Mrs.Sharmila Devi Pounraj, Founder & CEO, Seven Clover, NLP Leadership and Relationship Coach, received the Women Achiever Award for her service in training hundreds of people and making differences in their lives with the power of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

The Women’s Day Celebrations commenced at 11:00 AM in the auditorium. The program started with an invocation. Dr.R.Palanichamy, Principal, PSYEC welcomed the gathering. The discussion was opened to the students with the award winners. Their doubts were clarified in a highly inspirational manner. Finally Dr.S.Thilagarani, Principal, PSY College of Education proposed vote of thanks.
